Lobbying the General Assembly is important to AAUP’s efforts to advocate on behalf of faculty.  When members take the time to join that effort we can be much more effective at dealing with legislation that may be harmful or supporting legislation that benefits our members.  In an effort to make participation easier the SCSU- AAUP has uploaded its lobbying guide here  and has established a forum where state legislator Gary Holder-Winfield will answer questions you might have here.
